Many things are true. Steve Ditko did struggle socially. Did compartmentalize his life. AND had a close family & friendships spanning decades & replied to every fan letter & channelled his emotions into his pen & is Peter Parker. #Longreads @Longreads rollingstone.com/culture/cultur…

If computer processing power doubles every year and a half, AI accelerates 10 times faster. A new AI program has the ability to hack into every operating system and browser on the market and experts warn the nonprofit world needs to be vigilant. @eJPhil ejewishphilanthropy.com/security-exper…

JCPA's budget has nearly tripled under Amy Spitalnick — from $970K to $2.7M — and staff has grown from 2 to nearly a dozen. The driving force? Her grandparents' Holocaust survival and belief in American democracy. @jaydeitcher reports: ejphil.com/4znzh

“Dear [American Jewish] brothers, you are traitors,” Segal writes... in Hebrew — a language few American Jews speak fluently — and in an outlet that few American Jews have heard of, let alone read
Religion and State@religion_state

.@JudahAriGross: While Haggai Segal’s threats are both improbable, impractical and off-base, his column condemning American Jews for choosing to remain in the Diaspora has nevertheless struck a nerve ejewishphilanthropy.com/fresh-fight-ov… #aliyah @goldman1007 @ZvikaKlein

In a sit-down interview with eJP, Craigslist founder @craignewmark defended his support for the ADL and made the case for the Giving Pledge: "Good philanthropy never goes out of style." ejphil.com/4zibw

Yup, this is how I feel, directed by bold Old and New Testaments
eJewishPhilanthropy@eJPhil

@craignewmark ...All I really understand is the whole Judeo-Christian thing, which says, “You do well for yourself and your family, and then maybe you help out where you can.” So I’m not judging anyone, but I will remind people that the Bible is relatively clear on this subject."

I get asked about my politics a lot. I’ve tried to talk about it from time to time, without a lot of success. Most of what’s assumed or written about my views is bullshit. I need help in getting it right. Words like “liberal” and “conservative” and even “libertarian” don’t have much meaning anymore. They don’t describe me and they don’t really describe many people I know. The least enshittified way to talk about my deal is to start with the basics, the influence of my high school US history and civics classes. I’ve always liked the thought of being a Founding Father patriot. Including the amendments and counting Lincoln as a founder make that even easier. linkedin.com/posts/craignew…

Appreciated this report which focused not only on big machers, but average folks who want to help heal the world. Gets into the need for people to have hope that things can change for the better to involve themselves in giving and volunteering. @eJPhil ejewishphilanthropy.com/generosity-com…
