My mental health is in shambles. It has been this way since the third quarter of last year, but I have navigated it well so far. I started training six days a week as an effective coping mechanism. I recently reduced it to five days a week. In fact, the main reason I’ve been tweeting so much since the beginning of this year is that I hit rock bottom financially last year and needed the X payout. (I mentioned this in a tweet months ago, but of course many people won’t see it.) This is also why I remain unfazed by people who try to malign or bully me online. Apart from the fact that I know I am superior to them, their futile attempts are the least of my worries. In fact, their maligning only exists because of my actual problem - it’s merely a ripple effect, a bottom-of-the-barrel ripple effect. In all honesty, I am happy most of the time and I never fake it. However, the impact of what happened to me in the third quarter of last year is still there. Anytime I remember it, it breaks me, because every form of ridicule (or attempt at it) I currently face stems from that event particularly as well as previous minor ones. In the end, what has happened has happened. I have to forge ahead, even though it dealt a heavy blow to my journey. What will be will be, but I will do everything humanly possible to make it what I want. Time will tell...
