@ChelloBoss KD was never super athletic to begin with .. go look at his career dunk highlights , there’s not that many amazing ones lol. He’s always been a finesse scorer that uses his height and shooting ability to his advantage.
For more dumbass saying “well duh he’s 21” that’s not the point and you completely miss it. You can watch clips of just 5 years ago and it’s the same thing, the point is no he’s not better post Achilles.
@Fireandwater_0@ColoredTrees@ChelloBoss Yeah but KDs injury happened right when most players begin a slow decline (age 30/31). Him not being the same player post injury is less because of the injury and more because of aging. Also KD was never bouncy or super athletic to begin with , always been a skilled/finesse player
@DWoods53@IHRABAN15103@legend6006135 You can make a counter argument that they’re set because these 10 teams didn’t mail it in earlier and have been wanting to go for a playoff/play in spot though. This picture shows how much more competitive the conference has been this year. 10 pretty good teams , rather than 6
@jayjay1795@IHRABAN15103@legend6006135 The top 10 seeds seeds in both conferences this year are already pretty much set barring something crazy because more teams decided to bow out earlier
@ChelloBoss What players in nba history ever looked the exact same at 32 , 33 or 34 etc as they did when they were in their early 20s lol ..lebron? Maybe ? Even his highlights and athleticsm was less as he aged. Achilles injury probably took 10 % away from KD not as much as you make it seem
@DWoods53@IHRABAN15103@legend6006135 Its clear teams in the 8-11 range if they have a chance will go for a play in spot (most) , before it was implemented more teams in that range were bottoming out and resting/shutting down players after the deadline. Smaller market teams want to have any resemblance of playoffs
@jayjay1795@IHRABAN15103@legend6006135 Tbf to the guy above, teams at the bottom have stopped that and are tanking harder lol but still the 7-10 seeds largely do not matter. The benefit of the play-in is just how hard everyone fights to avoid it. Resting while your opponent has to deal with a do or die game is huge
@IHRABAN15103@legend6006135 I think it takes away from more teams bottoming out after the deadline and tanking because they want their fan base to get a play in game and possible playoffs. More competitive teams this way and the play in games get people excited for the actual playoffs the following week
@jayjay1795@legend6006135 I think 1 team was good enough to win more games than the other and the other team shouldn’t get babied for having less wins. I think some teams rest their best players a lil more during the last week of the season because it matters less to drop from 8-9. Still matters but less
@IHRABAN15103@legend6006135 How is it retarded ? You really think the 8th seed team is that much better than the 9th if they finish with 1 more win ? Let them duke it out to see ..
@jayjay1795@legend6006135 It retarded when you play 82 whole games to for seeding just to have to play 1-2 extra games because 2 teams with a worse record than you are failed to win enough to be the 7th or 8th seed.
@sixringsofsteeI Vancouver no question , how there's only 1 team in Canada in 2026 is beyond crazy to me. Vancouver is a pretty massive market in North America as well
