Bang Si-Hyuk lacks creativity. The way he tried to copy what Bad Bunny did on “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” by throwing a traditional Korean folk sample into his boy group’s album… it’s so obvious. And what makes it worse is that even the group clocked how awkward and unnatural the sample sounded. Bad Bunny’s album worked because it was real. That’s the music he grew up with. Sampling traditional Puerto Rican sounds wasn’t for aesthetics or trends, it was about honoring his roots and keeping that culture alive. You can’t fake that. If you want a preview of HYBE’s “new sound,” just look at whatever’s #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
