@nimishdubey Think it is perfectly okay. We have seen so many Australian legends declare the 'x' being their last series, much in advance. And they are more often than not, afforded that farewell. As long as the player keeps performing till the last series, the trend should pick on!

This is the state of Pune's arterial road with 30 min rains. And our leaders talk of 5000 Cr River Front Devp, London Eye, Bharat Mandapam etc. Do they know a bit of urban planning? Are they really aware of the common man's needs? DO THEY REALLY CARE FOR THE CITY? @suchetadalal

Morality, fairness, and justice were the unwritten critical conditions to follow for people in power since the early days of civilisation. Even if they didn’t follow them, they made efforts that history remembers them as the good guys who tried. And then sometime in the last two decades (after a century of dabbling with the idea) a new set of kings arrived who said - what if we choose to be openly immoral, unjust, and even vile. What could go wrong (for us)? And nothing did - in fact their powers, mandates, and evilness kept on increasing. They don’t care about history or the written word documenting their deeds - in fact have an active disdain for it. Both history and future are just tools to their agenda - of accumulating more power in the present. And the most fascinating paradox hidden in this choice is that these kings have proudly made religion and their own religious identities as the central argument to their position. Religion - a way of life that above all surmises that actions have consequences (even for Gods) - being used by people who firmly believe in zero consequences. These kings, more than even the godless atheists, know there are no gods, no afterlife, no rebirths, and no punishment here or anywhere else. Nihilist power-grabbers have taken over the world while the common believers are left to deal with the consequences. It’s not just the end of ethics, it’s the end of the biggest lure of the religions itself - that in the end, there’s justice. It’s the end of religion.

Narendra Modi’s career should have ended in Gujarat in 2002. India is enduring the consequences of Vajpayee’s failure to rise to the moment.

Insurance is one of those expenses we all pay… ₹20k, ₹30k, ₹50k and even more for many......every year. But very few people realise: This is also one of the easiest spends to optimize for 5%–13% savings. Let me break it down step by step (card by card). 🧵

Bhuvinder Singh walked into Shark Tank India. Selling cold coffee in beer bottles. Called it Theka Coffee. Every shark said no. Too quirky. Too niche. Too risky. He walked out with nothing. Two weeks after the episode aired Reliance Retail called him. Wanted a partnership. Then investors started calling. Raised ₹2.5 crore. Valued at ₹120 crore today. The sharks who rejected him are now watching him grow on their TV screens. The same TV show that said no. Made him famous enough to not need them.

At a time of the crisis in West Asia, #IranWar‌ long lines for LPG everywhere, Parliament is in session , where is the Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ? Busy campaigning in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and abusing the opposition. India needs competent leadership, but all we have is a multiple-time- outfit changing Election Mantri. Khikhikhi. The joke’s on us.

I will personally invest in the first company who can end VFS Global’s monopoly on international visa processing. Truly there is not a worse service full of the most condescending and disparaging employees quite like this dogshit company.

I get restaurants panicking because of the lack of commercial gas supply but why are retail users queuing up like this for cylinders? On average, a household of four with a gas connection would have 2 cylinders- one full and unused cylinder, and one that is used which typically lasts for 2 months (even 3 if you're doing a mix of OPOS and induction).

For nations to prosper the critical need is to ensure you don’t have a leader whose sole aim is to remain a leader. Then every policy choice is made for that single goal, irrespective of what it does to the wellbeing of citizens.

The world, Europe, and Spain have faced this critical moment before. In 2003, a few irresponsible leaders dragged us into an illegal war in the Middle East that brought nothing but insecurity and pain. Our response then must be our response now: NO to violations of international law. NO to the illusion that we can solve the world’s problems with bombs. NO to repeating the mistakes of the past. NO TO WAR. lamoncloa.gob.es/presidente/int…

@HDFCBank_Cares your policy doesn't allow a customer to prepay a CC bill? What could be the possible reasons for it? #ccgeek I want to pay up and close the card for good.

Such an endearing post match conference by Sanju Samson. He spoke of the inner struggle that everyone has to go through to overcome fear of failure, but few speak of without pretense. Also the humility to say it could have gone the other way and why faith is important. There is the Hardik way to double down and not let doubt creep in - looks spectacular when it comes off, ridiculous when it doesn't. There is the Samson way to wrestle with self doubt, persevere but know yourself well enough to not put on a mask. Feels authentic but can be self limiting. There is the Virat way - to channel aggression into maniacal discipline and bend the world to write your history. There is the Sachin way - Master the terrain but remain the servant of the Game to be the GOAT. Sports is the reminder of the best possibility in us. There is no one way for all - Only the way to channel your Svabhava towards its potential but realize the larger game is to give it all but not give in or give up but also be content at the end of the day.

@HDFCBank_Cares It is not a pixel credit card. It is Tata Neu. And it doesn't allow me to pay more than the bill generated. So technically I have to wait for the next month's bill and then make the payment, to ultimately close this card.
