This is our plan for the coming days. The next game we’ll attend is Germany’s Round of 32 match in Boston on the 29th. Since we have 7 days to get there, we decided not to take the direct route and instead make a huge detour through Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and a few other states. Any recommendations for places or cities to visit along the way are very welcome!

This was awesome. Boat tour right up to the Niagara Falls. Thanks everyone for recommending it!

I’m surprised. I thought it would just be the waterfalls, but the whole city is like one giant amusement park. There’s even a roller coaster on top of Burger King.

First chill day of the trip. Just watching the matches and planning the next few days. We might head to Niagara Falls later this evening. They have fireworks every night at 10pm, so this would be cool to see.

This has to be one of the nicest public viewing spots I‘ve ever been to. Right next to the Niagara Falls. Also first time trying Poutine, one of Canada‘s national dishes.

Just to clarify we never had tickets for the Germany - Ecuador game. We would‘ve needed to buy on the resale market and this is how prices are looking like for that match at the moment. We’d rather save that money and use it for knockout-stage tickets instead.

WE MADE IT!!! Germany vs Ivory Coast 🇩🇪🇨🇮 Our second game of the World Cup, and the strongest opponent in our group stage awaits us. This should be a great match!

Ecuador’s draw with Curaçao means Germany has already secured first place in the group before the final matchday. That makes our game against Ecuador in New Jersey next Thursday pretty much meaningless. I think we’re going to change our plans and head to a different game instead.

BREAKING: @FreddyLA7’s flight from Oklahoma City to Toronto via Dallas was delayed by weather. American Airlines, realizing the newly crowned fan celeb was going to miss his flight to Canada and maybe miss Germany game tomorrow, shuttled him to his connection. Told he made it.
