You can't help the association. Even if you can't consciously recognize AI art, your brain is going to go, "Thing that looks like X shows up at very annoying times and is annoying, therefore I do not like the look of X."

Funny thing I'm noticing is how quickly AI-generated art has started to look extremely cheap and untrustworthy because we're associating it with a certain kind of low-budget ad (eg. scammy mobile games). Art that comes cheap is going to look cheap, regardless of your fancy tech.
