Quitting booze made me feel like a bad ass. I didn’t do AA but I did take blacksmith classes but very Friday night. Went & got my welding certification without being intimidated 🖤🙋🏻‍♀️ nothing was as scary as letting go of my old frenemy alcohol

@smellsofbikes @abtech_cc We brought our own hammers & didn’t have stakes there but… years later I saw such beautiful tools in person @penlandschool

@jeribella @abtech_cc This is a completely atypical bit of neatness, at least in my metalsmithing experience. The last day of class each semester, we spent fine-sanding and polishing all the stakes and forging hammers, but that was about the extent of cleanup.

This is for sure a subtweet only it's pointed at about a gazillion people I follow coz y'all are some really talented people.

One of the things I loathe about Twitter: On G+, going back through a newly met person's posting history and liking all the stuff they've done for the last year was a high compliment. Here, it's considered psycho. And when I find someone new who has done cool stuff I hate this.
