It’s been an intense 6-months of construction, recruitments, setups and preparations establishing our first-of-its-kind homegrown ultramodern state-of-the-art innovative, distributive and disruptive lab. Lots to firm up and smoothen with my young team of enthusiastic and dedicated diverse professionals who have just about 2 weeks of the soft go-live period to settle down properly before our official launch event in mid-October 2024.

As someone who contributed to the fund together with friends, I disagree with this idea. First, look at this idea from the families perspective, they are still healing, and seeing their loved one’s names on billboards will only increase the pain. Number 2, some families received around 400k if I am not wrong, instead of spending on billboards (Which is mostly expensive and an outdated communication method) I suggest we give them additional financial support. This will aid in their healing process, as many have likely exhausted the initial funds. 400k in this economy is like pocket change. I am not sure but may be some of the heroes who were killed were breadwinners or they have siblings, if the kitty is still sufficient see how their siblings can be helped may be through payment of fees etc Housing support will also work for example the late Abdikadir’s mother I am told has no any other children so a small house would be helpful. Bottom line, the use of billboards is exactly how those in government waste public money. Many with peace messages are already up one would think Kenya is at war!

@Honeyfarsafi Make sure you get consent of all injured persons and the families of the fallen soldiers before sharing medical documents on the website coz of matters of data protection. U never know, even those who have been helped can turn against u anytime, trust no one on this.
