Breaking: Kentucky assistant coach Jason Hart has agreed to join Andy Enfield's staff at SMU, sources tell @PolacheckKSR and @JackPilgrimKSR.
Hart previously worked as an assistant under Enfield at USC from 2013 to 2021.

While I’m positive this is a joke, the sad part is it’s probably not too far off. For being some of the top freshman in the class, he and Moreno both have struggled mightily down the stretch.

Ballgame. Iowa State is clearly the better, more prepared team, even after falling down early. I’m so glad this season will soon be over. I can’t bear to see these players play together ever again. Pope has lots of work to do. I still think he can do well, but this season sucked.

This is easily my least favorite @KentuckyMBB team of my lifetime. They could be up 20 and I have zero confidence in their ability to win a game. Overpaid and mediocre basketball players. I feel bad for @OtegaOweh.

I’m not ready to fire Mark Pope yet, but I haven’t felt this way since the Billy G days and that was the lowest point. It doesn’t feel far from that. Would be nice to have the 3 injured starters, but even with this roster you have to beat a crappy UGA team at home.

Am I being dramatic? Probably. But something needs to be done and it needs to happen soon. Time to gut the entire athletic department and start from scratch. Maybe start with a competent AD.

Sadly, @KentuckyMBB is entering the same class as Indiana and UCLA. You can still classify them as a blueblood but really this program has fallen so far, it means nothing. No one fears playing the Cats, Rupp Arena is dead, and the future looks just as bleak as this season.
