Of Land And Sea (4.55 Limerick) is Patrick’s only ride of today and he is 58% at Limerick (huge - the best of any jockey out today at a specific course). 2L 4th on debut where even though 2nd has won since, the form is awful. Hard to use that. 5L 5th NTO though and that winner has gone a very close 3rd in the Mares Bumper at DRF. Has 2L to find with Hey Now and 4L to find with Burning Ability but front ran last time and maybe a change of tactics today could mean 11/1 is massively overpriced. Hey Now could be got a lot closer that day though and could have a higher ceiling but I’m happy to have a go on Patrick’s today at the odds as he knows the horse well now. Townend also has a very good record at Limerick (37%) but his ride is 2/7 (Arslan in the 3.25) and I wouldn’t be again whacking in a muggy but not super keen to do so Sean is 30% at Ayr and Elliot is 36%. 43% together. I want to get on one at least. Ballymackie looks to romp the second but again; what at 2/5 I’m not overly keen on putting in a muggy. NoPresentLikeMe in the next is of no interest to me at 7/2 on hurdles debut after 5th in a bumper. Big Stage hasn’t been great recently in the next and can’t be guessing there. Likewise with Kasanova’s Dream in the next. Poetic Twist in the last though looks worth a go to me. Only 6L behind Moonverin on bumper debut and that form has been franked a lot. Will come on a lot from that too. I do feel that the favourite will be better over jumps and further… and Patrick would probably be over for it if it was that much of a rocket? Hard to say but I am happy to take on that odds on Mullins favourite Looking at Elliot’s at Limerick, with Jack on. Timmy Tuesday has pulled up last 3 runs haha can’t be guessing there even if he is the best in the field on his peak. Golden Wings was behind Patrick’s mount at the in his bumper but was much better on hurdle debut. 12L behind I Started A Joke who has come 2nd to BowensOnFire in the C1 at DRF. Could be good. So hard to take on the favourite though. 11L behind Ballyfad LTO could also be good. I Started A Joke did run 10 seconds quicker than Ballyfad at DRF mind over the same distance - even though it was a C1 not a G1. May give me the swing here. Hmm. Yeah let’s go. Come on Golden Wings. Will improve with Jack on and 5/2 looks good. Can’t be taking on Arslan in the next so I’ll leave that race James Ferguson yard has won 2 from 4 in February and Contemplation does interest me in the opener at Newcastle. Nicely Curved is yards only horse out and Tyler is on (2.48) but surely can’t be guessing on this American import? If anything I’d like to give Wrist Art another go who I fancied last week when pumped in last. Something was off that day and maybe much better again today hmm Rawlinson is is 60% at Lingfield for Simon Hodgson. Ah ffs they are in the same race (2.48). Yeah I’m leaving that race well alone One I like from skimming through the cards though is Fidelius in the 1.48 at Lingfield. Down in class and I think wins this

Three in my tracker today and I won’t lie; it’s pretty disappointing. WeDontTellLies (3.57 Kempton) has so no comments in my tracker (they’ve been blocked on this particular account) and I haven’t posted about it on Twitter. Hmm. Drifting massively too (10/3 to 13/2). If you watch the ‘last furlong’ on 365 though form his last race you can see why I’ve probably put him in. Was so far back and given so much to do but absolutely flew home to grab 3rd. Clearly likes the course and if he can have a more prominent ride than has a great chance. Wouldn’t mind having a small go each way now at these odds Split Elevens (5.07 Yarmouth) owes me nothing after winning 5 times for me last year. He probably shouldn’t still be in here, but I keep him in (just like Intervention, Gogo Yubari and The Cola Kid) to decide on a race by race basis if I want to get on. Is today the day? No, I don’t think so (once again), especially as I have another in my tracker in this race haha. I’ll be getting on him again soon though on I think, when he’s back on the all weather and it will be worth the wait (just like the wait on Intervention who didn’t win for ages and then romped on the all weather at 12/1 … and Gogo Yubari who won for us at 18/1 last month) Born A Rebel (also 5.07 Yarmouth) was awful here LTO but she has won here before off a higher mark than this and 9/1 looks high to me if we are scratching the last run. She broke slowly and was kept at the back and was never really trying let’s be honest so in my opinion it can easily be ignored. Don’t get me wrong, her win the time before she was slow out too (and kept towards the back) but you could tell that SDS was properly trying (and was keeping as close to the pack as possible) and hopefully that is the case again today. If she breaks well and keeps up with the pace then she has a great chance of stretching away at the end. I’ll be having a small each way single on at 9/1 and maybe just maybe in a small each way double. Let’s hope my all weather boy (and the rest of the field) doesn’t get in the way Will play a very small each way double too on the chosen selections. Anyone got one in their tracker that they’re really exciting to be getting on today?

She was definitely a bit below par at Epsom but I don't think that track is ideal for her. This stiff course will definitely help and back down to Listed company (she won when last at this level) she looks a danger to all. With Sparks Fly out it makes it an even better opportunity so plenty to like. Taking a chance on SPANGLED MAC bouncing back. He didn't have the best luck in-running when down the field at Royal Ascot and with Billy Loughnane taking back over in the saddle he could surprise a few here. This is obviously easier and down a couple of pounds with a better jockey in the saddle looks worth backing at the prices. I have been waiting for ANALOGICAL to run again. The yard are in good form now and he certainly wasn't disgraced bumping into the improving Belgravian at Doncaster last time. That horse has run well since (to a stablemate of the selection) so they have a decent line on the form and he is proving strong in the betting which is good to see. He has more to come especially over this trip and should justify favouritism. I backed WALSINGHAM at 11/2 and the money has been relentless. He needs to settle so we will likely know our fate early enough but if he does he will be hard to beat off a mark of just 73 here. He has run well fresh before so the lack of a run doesn't bother me and this looks a winnable race too. The danger Mount King carries a penalty so that makes life tougher and Paladin has top-weight. I had a feeling The Thames Boatman would be popular for this but there isn't much between the top pair so ALL WAYS GLAMOROUS gets the vote to follow up. He has won 2 of his last 3 now and is looking progressive. The runner-up Level Up has won since so the form has been well advertised. I can see him making all as there isn't a huge amount of pace on. Good looking filly LAMBOURNGHINI impressed opening her account at Chepstow and with more to come she should follow up against these. There will be no issue going back up to a mile and she clearly has plenty going for her with Joe Leavy in the saddle again. I know there is a fair bit of pace on and she likes to go forward but I don't think she needs to lead and she should be the one finishing best of all.
