Raptors 905 have acquired Tyrese Samuel from the Valley Suns for a 2027 1st-round pick. 905 lost Julian Reese to a call up. Samuel was solid in CEBL. Should also get David Roddy back from FIBA shortly.

Canada cruises by Jamaica 97-81. Improve to 4-0 in FIBA WC Qualifiers. Can't say enough good things about the Winter Core. Stepped up on the road this window and clinched a second round birth. The baton has been passed to the SMNT's Summer Core to keep up the strong play.

Cockburn's night is done after fouling out early in the 4th 8 PTS on just 3/10 shooting. Was averaging 19.7 PPG heading into this game. He did get 8 OREB but overall, Canada's "smaller" frontcourt neutralized him. Great coaching from HC Nate Mitchell and execution from the SMNT
