How meningitis rash looks on Black skin 👇🏾 Take note because there is no mention of how it presents itself on Black people.
moth🩸@vermincrawlls

@MsRade92 these are some of the visuals i've managed to find that show how it presents - it can be much less obvious and easier to overlook. please be safe everyone <3

Absolutely sick to death of hearing about how the new @louistheroux documentary has made people think about attitudes to women. Lots of MPs jumping on the bandwagon. I mean, no disrespect to Louis - I’m grateful for the highlight - but for God’s sake… Women get killed by their partner every week. Tiny Man Tate has been a thing for years. Domestic violence shelters are overwhelmed. Women have been waving the red flags about incels and attitudes for years. We’ve been begging for change. We’ve been highlighting the serious threat of anti-women social media. Then a MAN makes a documentary and suddenly everyone’s interested? Do you not all think that this might be part of the problem?

@geen_lesley @jamie_wallis @BloomandWild The CEO is the same but we’re acquired by venture capitalists including Rishi Sunak’s wife. Suspect quality gone down since investors wants to optimise margin

Usually we are ecstatic with mother’s days flowers from @BloomandWild but the quality this year is really bad. Three of our showstopper stems are decapitated 😞. Always a tribute for my partners late mum and I am gutted.

I had the privilege to share my solidarity with the Palestinian people in a meeting with Ambassadors Riyad Mansour and Majed Bamya, and Senior Advisor Sahar Salem at the Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations. The ongoing Israeli genocide has destroyed or damaged every single school in Gaza. Places where children gathered, asked questions, made friends and imagined their futures no longer exist. The scale of destruction demands accountability and justice. And Israel is still blocking books and school supplies from entering Gaza, alongside other essential items like water, food and medicine — threatening the survival of an entire generation. Malala Fund will continue to support organisations responding to the crisis. We stand with local leaders working to help girls learn, rebuild their communities and shape their own futures.
State of Palestine@Palestine_UN

In a meeting with @Malala, Ambassador Mansour conveyed the pains and struggles of Palestinian women and girls in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. Ambassador Mansour thanked Malala for inspiring women and girls around the world, and for her support and solidarity with the Palestinian women and girls, advocating for their rights to education, protection and freedom. The State of Palestine looks forward to working with Malala Fund to advance education in Palestine.

The Observer
The Observer@ObserverUK·
What happened when we made our Deputy Editor experience period pain? To mark Endometriosis Awareness Month, our Deputy Editor, Giles Whitell, tried the Crampsta — a realistic period pain simulator designed to mimic menstrual cramps. It comes as new data from Endometriosis UK reveals the average time it now takes to receive a diagnosis in the UK has reached 9 years and 4 months. Endometriosis is a long-term condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows elsewhere in the body. It affects 1 in 10 women, and symptoms can vary widely — but for many, they are severe, painful and life-altering, as The Observer's Phoebe Davis explains. #TapInTapOut

Altrincham HQ - Social Media Marketing in Manc
I remember when people used to love Brewdog. I'm that old. People used to love the marketing, the drinks and more. And in the last 5 years it's gone the opposite way. It's brand that people just don't love any more. Where do you stand?

Nobody can argue what #IanHuntley did wasn’t disgusting, unfathomable and he deserves to die behind bars but the celebration of a 3x murderer and rapist attacking him is also disgusting. Humanity seems lost - can’t criticise others lack of when showing none ourselves

Urgh all the people saying voting for the Greens is antisemitic. They deny genocide in Gaza. You can condemn terrorism by Hamas and condemn the Israeli Govt - two things can be true at once #HannahSpencer #GortonandDentonByElection

@secretclubprov So you think the people making you a profit should live on below minimum wage (i.e. in poverty) and/or need to be topped up by benefits paid by wider domestic taxpayers?

It now costs £111,000 to employ three 21 year olds on minimum wage for 40hrs per week each. Next time you complain about the price of the Timothy Taylor’s at the GC bare this in mind This is not sustainable for many businesses

Just seen a Facebook post from someone called Bethany (no clue who she is) saying ‘I’m on the fence about Lucy Letby’. This is where we are at now. Random people thinking they’re a high court judge while sitting on their silver velour sofa in their grey lounge.

I’m not normally one to comment on issues like the cost of living, but I’ve just done my Tesco order for tomorrow. £107! There are two of us. There’s no booze in that order. Apart from a steak pie, no meat (we use a proper butcher). It’s mainly consumables and cosmetic stuff.

We can draw a few conclusions from this laughablely transparent piece of performative PR from Green Party candidate, Hannah Spencer: 1. She can't plaster. That lump is never going on the wall. 2. She can't board out. The boards on the wall behind her look like they were done by a child, and there's no scrim tape on the absurd joints. 3. We can assume that this room is some kind of prop or personal project, nobody is paying for that amateur job. 4. Because people who work in or around these trades will not be fooled by this obvious fakery, this type of PR is designed to trick a certain type of person, likely the non-working class and middle classes who perhaps idealise the concept of the working class hero (but are repulsed by the actual working class).
