In my exp when an ad placement gets cancelled it’s communicated to every party involved immediately. The brand contacts the media team who contacts the vendors to take down the ads urgently bc every minute that ad is running is money being wasted by smth that won’t get launched

i was trying to stay off twt but as someone who has been working in the advertising industry for 4+ years—seeing his ads still up on tiktok, fb, times square, is SO mind boggling to me i just NEED to go on a rant about how this typically works so let me go on a tangent 🧵
