@BigJakeCLE We have always been guilty of giving too much rope and waiting too long for our own players to develop. We need to know when it is right to sell high on some of these guys. It's early and things can get better, but sometimes players are who they are, and that can't be changed.

Gavin Williams has everything you want in an ace. The velocity, the movement, the swing-and-miss stuff. It’s electric. But the walks are absolutely killing him. You can’t dominate hitters and then hand out free passes like this.

People are so low on us but I feel like this is actually our best team since like 2018

@Rob_Shenanigans My biggest concern, these guys getting high pitch counts early in the game and failing to give us length. That has been a big problem for Bibee and Williams.

@GageEHC He never looks like he is having any fun. He always seems to pass the eye test, but we need better results. He is what he is and I wonder how long they will give him, especially if he is not hitting early.

@SleeperGuards A first baseman doesn’t make sense to me. A RH hitting outfielder would have given us more options and flexibility.
