the most enchanting modern art movement to me is the drawing of furries in regular clothes doing regular things, having shitty jobs, etc.. creating a fantasy world that isn't necessarily better than the real world except for the fact that you get to finally be a dog.

@AstroDraws @arvalis @fumgitron1000 I need to actually start mine I am just iffy on a lot of small details that can shake up the foundation. I got to 4k words for the manuscript but I really wanna start it now gahhh. Maybe I should do smaller tidbits here and there

@arvalis @fumgitron1000 For me its been a comic project, really pushes me to seek information on anatomy, perspective, values, form, background design, storyboards, color grading, etc.

@traxfunky Super duper true Ive been doing so many still life’s and a lot of other stuff. Just churn stuff out and eventually you’ll get better (with due diligence obviously) I found myself improving quite a lot

to be honest if my fancy schmancy art school portfolio course taught me one thing: it’s really that don’t spend 200 hours on one piece, literally just churn out art every day. quantity over quality because the more you draw the more the quality WILL get better

@itsreallime I hope you can find and enjoy art without feeling the pressure of your parents and the people around you. It takes a lot to admit and own up to faults. I personally found art to be my own way of self-expression without having any external influence. There’s LOA and quickposes
