@StarkyTheSald i think this just blatantly overlooks the fact his character was explained and felt it explained more than most things in csm i think any moment he could’ve done what he did throughout the manga he’s always odd but this part didn’t seemed rushed at all

I think this is when fujimoto truly checked out of the story and just wanted to get it done. Yoshidas conclusion was something I felt couldn't be his actual ending. It was tragic and fitting, but it also was rushed, and didn't even make much logical sense, but it gets brushed off

After researching the real Heian era a little bit I understand why Gege never did a proper flashback because it would have to be long as hell if he dived into everything. It could easily be longer than Modulo. That being said it'd make a great spin-off series
