@HoffmanTactical I think they're comments a valid one, but poorly stated. Using a lot of external relations and equations and feature dependency will really bog down SW. making use of reference planes surfaces, and other lightweight features is the way to go. Been using SW for over 20 years.

I took so many falls for this, my shins and knees were so scraped up by the end of it We've been working hard at this one for MONTHS now, from concepting to writing to filming and editing and 3D effect work This is the first time we've done something for ourselves that involves the 3D animations and other stuff we usually do for others Hope the effort shows! 3D work done by @Thejudsub

There's a reason you feel like your body's started falling apart, and it's not what everyone keeps telling you. Everyone keeps telling you to cut this out of your diet, cut that out of your food. By the time you've taken a look at what you're still allowed to eat, it looks absolutely miserable. And you know you're not going to be able to stick to that. So the solution to feeling like your body's falling apart... is to stop enjoying food? We don't believe in that. Nutrition should be about ADDING the nutrients your body needs, in the ways that you can actually eat. But it can be really hard to figure out what your body actually needs. There's so much to keep track of, so many vitamins and minerals and balances... It's easy to want to give up understanding it all. So we made a simple solution. One bowl with everything your body actually needs, tuned and balanced so it works as a foundation, not a band-aid. The kind of foundation that lets your body stop falling behind and start catching up. And to make it easy and delicious, why not put it into ramen? Vite Ramen has: 💪 Up to 32g protein per bowl 🧠 All 27 vitamins and minerals 🥦 7g prebiotic fiber 🍜 Delicious flavors crafted by a former Michelin Star Cook Plant-based with real powdered miso and mushroom, and meat-based with real dehydrated pork and chicken broths available! Over 2.7 million noodles served since 2016. We're a small business, made in USA, with no venture capital, and our very own factory. No white labeling and drop shipping here! Our ramen is made to order in small batches with the best ingredients we can get, and preorders help us buy the right amount of these special ingredients. First time customers will get a free charm while your batch gets made, and you can cancel anytime for a full refund-- and keep the charm! Don't let your health fall off a cliff eating like you're still 20. Take the new way of eating like you're still 20 but getting all your Noodtrients instead, and finally give your body the foundational nutrients it needs. 🧵

@oyatsu009 This is the method I like to use for fish nets. Create a cylinder, then un-subdivide it one iteration. Then use the wireframe modifier.

@ThatNgonGuy @mandazakii I come at it from a different angle where I learned CAD for machine design first then 3D like Blender and I feel like the skills are very transferable between the two.

@mandazakii Arch viz, product viz, advertising, broadcast, vfx, VR/simulation, medical, motion graphics... I feel like I'm forgetting one, but I've done contracts in every one of those fields. Some are of course way more boring than others, but it's also employment, so 🤷‍♂️

@MysteryPancake1 @MatterCg The typical work flows for consistent simulations is to apply a triangulation modifier before a cloth simulation modifier.

@junkengineer @MatterCg For rendering it may convert quads to tris, but for simulations it keeps the geometry the same For cloth, it usually converts edges to distance constraints. This means the topology affects a lot, especially for quads since they tend to always have 4 connections

@McMasterDaily The trick is to buy the older model that way you can use it with a lot of different cables and devices. Still way more than it used to be.

@MatterCg Triangular meshes are recommended by most charfx tutorials, since quad meshes have less degrees of freedom and tend to produce sharp corners There's some good videos by Jeff Lait about this if you search for Vellum Masterclasses :)

@Prusa3D The joke writes itself, but actually: AI-optimized print paths, real-time layer adhesion feedback, and computational slicing are genuinely the next frontier for FDM quality. The hardware ceiling is basically solved — firmware and ML are where the gains come from now.
