The only reason Nigeria is drawn into a relay conversation with Ghana, is because we hardly ever train for it. With the quality at Nigeria's disposal, 37s should be the men's 4x100m benchmark. There isn't enough incentive for the boys to actively practice or rather prepare for relays. That has been Nigeria's biggest challenge - getting the boys motivated enough to practice for relays. The last time Nigeria was in what looked like a relay camp, was in 2021, when athletes were selected from Nigeria and camped in Texas for one month. This Ghana team isn't better than Nigeria, they only have better chemistry.
