Eight members (six Dems, two GOP) as the meeting is called back into order. This is still yesterday’s meeting so no roll call will be taken and anyone here yesterday could have left a vote for bills being considered tonight.

NJ’s State Senate Budget Committee is scheduled to start a meeting at noon with an extensive agenda, including the FY26 budget…. but they don’t appear to be starting as the judiciary meeting continues.

Budget meeting started shortly before 2 and chairman Paul Sarlo announced that the budget won’t be brought before the committee for some time. He said 6 or 7 at the earliest or it “might be” tomorrow.
