This picture warms my heart. My aunty who lives with stage 4 Lipedema and severe learning disabilities did a painting of Smu. She loves doing pictures and if there's anything I can say, it's that creative projects really give quality of life to those unable to live like we do.

@BerubeNathaniel I wish it was from the other sites that charged an annual fee from a trial without letting people know. I got done by a few apps. One was a sleeping app that charged $700 and refused to refund despite me messaging them saying I've never logged on hahaha Feels like a TV crossover

@katymoonfox It’s apparently real, a lawsuit where Amazon was signing people up for Amazon prime without their consent, it’s the settlement of a class action lawsuit.

So, it was the fan/RGB controller that exploded yesterday. Seemed pretty localized luckily. Took it all apart and had to replace fans, PSU, scrub of the chemical crust. After some Frankenstein-ing I have made it to BIOS! 😊

@702ValetParker You're right. I've wondered why it progresses this way, pressured/crappy relationships, shamefulness, insecurity? I think it's horrid to speak down on peers yet I also think those who do SW under those conditions also have a place to celebrate if they no longer need to.

Women who leave sex work and then turn around to shame those still in it while framing themselves as “saved” will never not irritate me. You don’t become morally superior just because you exited the industry. And pretending everyone who stays needs rescuing is both inaccurate and harmful. Let’s be clear: people who are coerced, trafficked, or forced into sex work are victims. Full stop. That is not sex work, that’s exploitation. Conflating the two erases actual trafficking victims and muddies the conversation in ways that help no one. But choosing sex work because you needed money, had bills to pay, or decided it was the best option available to you at the time is still a choice. Maybe not an ideal one. Maybe not one made in a vacuum. But it is fundamentally different from being forced. Plenty of people choose sex work over minimum-wage labor that still wouldn’t cover rent, childcare, or basic survival and that doesn’t make them helpless or delusional. You don’t get to rewrite your own story into a moral rescue narrative just because it’s more palatable to outsiders. And you don’t get to throw the rest of us under the bus to make your exit look nobler. Empathy shouldn’t come with selective amnesia.

@katymoonfox Yes, if you check out @TheCriticalDri2 or @Nerdrotics one of those two talks about this on their channel how production companies intentionally create for the doom scroller. Prime example you said before Stranger Things. First season great fifth season was GoT S8 all over again

@mcasey1116 There's all these dumb research tricks they use these days. Similar to music streaming, where they over announce dialogue because they think people will be on their phones. But it goes to show they care more for those people not paying attention, than people who genuinely care

@katymoonfox One of the worst things done in a lot of movies and TV shows now is someone does this dump of exposition or they have the character do an exposition dump instead of letting come out over time it’s completely off putting.

@2C110100100 The ram registered. I think it was a voltage issue. Also was on an i7 13th Gen. So degradation was real

@katymoonfox If its not registering you have ram and says 0 gb ram sounds like a motherboard issue. If it shows a fraction of your ram it could be a faulty slot
