With Codex and Claude Code, I find myself "procrastinating" by building small things in the product myself rather than doing the difficult work of talking to users.

Look for connection today. -------- Friday: Tomkins Square Bagels. Color factory. 9/11 memorial. So moving. The water. Falling. Endless. Feeding pigeons. Pizza for lunch with a view. 7th street burgers for dinner. Highly recommend. H Mart (Korean grocery for stocking up) Lucy threw up (food poisoning from a NASTY candy she wanted. Watched the movie Big. So many feels. Saturday: Breakfast Little Ruby's. Highly recommend. Statue of Liberty. So emotional. Ellis Island. Incredible. Harry Potter store. BLEW ME AWAY. Times Square. Her name is Han Korean. Favorite Korean. Sunday: Rockefeller ice skating. FAO Schwarz. Lego store. MoMA. Harry Potter movie. Feels. Nouvo Pizza. Bad frozen yogurt. Even NYC can be gross. Monday: Foot of Empire State Building. Fog. Boo. Natural History Museum. Second time. So amazing. Levain bakery. Such cookie. Slime Factory. OMFG I'm tired.

Wimp had an insane week. We did over 345 orders in 10 days. We sold out of our coffee. We'd expected this number of orders in the first 2 months. Good problems to have, but man, ecommerce is a different game! Wowsa.

Founders: Some days you will feel like an absolute failure along the way. I know I do. Don't fight it, because it's part of the process. I just want anyone that needs to hear this right now to hear it: you're not alone. you're not a failure. if you ever want to chat, hmu. In 2024 my wife & I packed and shipped 17,000+ units from our in-home logistics facility. Aka back room/sun room/play room depending on who you ask. 77 unique SKUs sold. Swap Top hats & charm bundles. That’s a lot of 7s. If you know my thing with 7s, you know why that feels like a Godwink. We have 3 kids & multiple businesses between the two of us. It’s wild at times but we love it. Time to keep building 🫡

Black Friday was meh, but Black November has been 💯 Month long event > Weekend push. I’m thinking about launching BF in January next year 🤣
