@khoingo

I lie, steal, hate, envy & lust. I broke God's law & deserve hell. Lord Jesus died for my sins, was buried, & rose again the third day. I repent & trust in Him.

For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ & Him crucified. - I Corinthians 2:2 The focal point is Christ & His gospel. Everything else points to or flows from Christ & His gospel. Christ died for our sins, He was buried, & He rose again the 3rd day.

That would be you saying he has 3 heads. The Scriptures doesn't teach that the Godhead has three heads. The one true, most high God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our Creator God is not like any of His creatures/creation. For believers of the gospel of Christ, once our spirits depart to be with Christ or when our natural bodies are resurrected as glorified bodies... then we will see God as He is. We can speak the same as the Scriptures and the apostle Thomas, saying to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!" The gospel of Christ: Jesus Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day for our justification. His blood, the propitation (atonement) for our sins. Sinners need to repent and believe the gospel to be saved, justified, and reconciled to God who is holy, holy, holy.

@khoingo Albeit true but he likens himself as a Father in the Bible in most cases. He can be whatever he wants. He’s called he’s “I AM WHAT I AM”. But he doesn’t have 3 heads. 3 headed gods (false ones) are found in the majority of religions.

Galatians 6:7a Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. When people put together God (Yahweh/Jehovah) The Son (Yeshuah/Jesus) & The Holy Spirit, you’re actually mocking God by putting all three in a triune godhead. I mean seriously how retarded would that look a body having three heads?

Because it is NOT written, "Then God said [to His heavenly court], 'Let Us make man in Our likeness." It is written, "Then God said, 'Let US make man in OUR image..." God refers to Himself and same image in the plural. Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” - We see the Father and the Spirit of God. Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. - We see all that was made/created was by Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was NOT made/created. He was with the Father in the beginning. John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, 👉 and without Him nothing was made that was made. Colossians 1:16-17 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. The apostle Thomas called Jesus, "my God." John 20:28-29 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” We can and should speak the same as the Scriptures and say to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!" What's a "trinity?" I see the Godhead in the Scriptures. The one true, most high God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Why do Trinitarians point to Genesis 1:26 as proof of the Trinity, but rarely mention passages like Isaiah 6, 1 Kings 22, Job 1–2, and Daniel 7 where God is surrounded by His heavenly court? Shouldn’t all the relevant passages be considered before concluding who “us” refers to?

There was already the church in Rome because of visitors from Rome on Pentecost who believed and they returned to Rome afterwards. It's also possible that the persecuted brethren who scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, preached the gospel everywhere, and some of these new believers eventually moved to Rome too. From the Scriptures, there were already beloved of God in Rome, called to be saints that the apostle Paul wrote to, and he commended them for their faith. This epistle also shows us that the gospel is not something Paul preached only to those without faith but also to those who already have faith. And that the gospel of Christ can be further explained and taught upon, about what happened in the gospel of Christ and what was accomplished by the gospel of Christ and what happens when we believe the gospel of Christ. Acts 2:10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, 👉 visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Acts 8:1, 4 Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. ... Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Romans 1:7-8 To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, 👉 that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day.

Why was there already a church in Rome to write this letter to if this letter contains the "go to" verse for how to get saved? Anyone...anyone? Bueller...Bueller? ------------------------------------------------------------ because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. - Rom 10:9 ESV

It could be this same judgment and pattern from the OT Scriptures. Isaiah 3:12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.” Also, the "senior pastor" and "pastor" as commonly defined and understood today are found no where in the instructions and pattern of the Scriptures.

I've been thinking about the controversy surrounding women in church leadership, such as the senior pastor position in modern churches. I know the scriptures that pertain to the issue, and still it's hard for me to believe that Paul would write the very same gender restrictions for us today that he wrote for the 1st Century church in a Greco-Roman culture. But then I had a thought, like just a few minutes ago. What if the issue isn't "can a woman do this or that" but "what is the endgame?" I tended to envision the "woman pastor" issue as whether or not a woman can be a senior pastor in a church where the eldership is restricted to men, and the "women pastor" is an employee of the men. What could go wrong from a practical point of view? What could go wrong for a female pastor that couldn't also go wrong for a traditional male pastor? I could not think of anything. But, nothing with humans remains static in friendships, families, churches, cities, states, or countries. To me it is almost inevitable that in some churches, churches where the leadership model also puts the senior pastor on the "elder board" or "church board" or whatever the church governing body is called, a woman in a senior leadership role will start recruiting more women in the leadership, and the process will snowball until the church in question is eventually completely controlled by women. I've been to two churches completely run by women and they were a horror. One was a meeting of an obscure denomination called the "two by twos." Look them up and see for yourself. No time to explain here. The female leaders of this church were stern and frumpy, and the men were milquetoast wimps. Just a weird and toxic place that I never wanted to return to. The other church was an established cathedral run by the Episcopal denomination. The entire liturgy was conducted by women. They were not pleasant looking women, but stern, arrogant looking women, one with a partially shaven head, with fancy robes, and I ended up leaving before the end of the service because it was so off-putting that I stopped caring. The endgame: One woman senior leader in a church leads to more women leaders, which leads to a complete takeover, and not of nice, pretty feminine women, but women who act like men, and think they're better men than the men. It can get pretty weird, and really toxic for the men, especially the young men. So, I can see both sides of the issue. I want to recognize that we don't live in the 1st Century Greco-Roman world, and I want to believe that Paul would not write the same rules for us, but I've seen the other side too, with my own eyes, and what can happen, and it isn't pretty. And, it's especially not pretty when the women aren't pretty, inside or out, and they are your leaders. 😎

Speaking of "bridge' All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to God the Father but through Him. Jesus Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day for our justification. His blood, the propitation (atonement) for our sins. Repent and believe the gospel to be saved, justified, and reconciled to God who is holy, holy, holy.

Dad buys stock at $200K. It grows to $10M. If he sells, he owes tax on a $9.8M gain. Instead, he puts it in a trust. Borrows against it. Lives tax-free. Dies holding. Kids inherit at a $10M basis. IRS gets $0.

@khoingo @manly_mentor I don't think your god has a problem with profit. He does have a problem with usury, but this is the game we must play. We will see how your talk changed after you have children to pay for.

Like I said, worldly wisdom and principles... where greed and maximum gains are our aim...and not seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We will be a slave/servant to the lender with our time, talents, treasures, thoughts, and/or strength. Who knows what God could have done with our lives for His glory, if we trusted what He said in the Scriptures and walked by faith in this area. Who knows the glories and testimonies of God's mighty work that we missed out on. It will be for another brother who trusted the Lord.
