Coffee Red Blister Disease (CRBD), also known as berry blotch is caused by the fungus Cercospora coffeicola. It affects coffee berries (forming small red raised spots that enlarge into unsightly blisters).
If not managed, the disease can cause a yield loss of up to 50%.
Farmers are advised to protect their plantations with copper based fungicides (#NORDOX 75WG) for protection. Use very highly curative fungicides containing Azoxystrobin and Tebuconazole to cure infected plantations.
