Olanzapine is a hell of a drug 😅 Though, it does seem to stabilize me pretty well. On Thursday I was going through a severe mixed episode. I started the olanzapine again on Saturday and have been feeling much calmer. Albeit much more groggy, too.

Had the worst mixed episode today. It lasted a few hours. I'm beat. The effort it takes to essentially hold yourself down so you don't do anything stupid is beyond words. Imagine having so much mental energy all you can do is scream inside until it breaks you apart physically.

The highs, lows, and mixed states can come and go. You are not at fault for irregular shifts in your mood. 💚

That our irritable moods are always triggered by something. Although that can be the case, as with anyone, it's more common for me to be irritable and have no idea why. Irritable is a state of being for me.
