I don’t quite know how to articulate this, but I think it’s important to intentionally come up with your own definition of luxury because it’s a real thing, but you don’t want your conception of it to be warped by marketing and salesmen selling you superficial products and experiences. True luxury is good for the spirit. I’m thinking about reading a good book with a coffee and pastry. I’m thinking about food that is delicious and healthy. I’m thinking about how the beauty of nature is almost inherently luxurious.
