There's always a reason you "should have" done something different after you take a loss. This way of thinking can lead to perpetually changing strategies. No matter what strategy you use, it will have losses. Losses are OK, and don't mean you HAVE to change something.

Nothing substitutes a trading apprenticeship, a heap of experiences which converts into the base of intuition.

A common mistake is start taking stupid risks after a trading loss. Revenge trading kills traders accounts. Trading is a business, not an online lottery.
