I found Miss Marple in a disused toilet a year ago. Her spine had been crushed and she was crawling over broken glass alone to scavenge food. She was covered in fleas, anemic and her life was about to end. Today she came back to visit. Hard to believe it’s the same dog 🥰🙏

The latest issue of BMJ Global Health, focused on RF/RHD, is now available, and this week is the 1st World Congress on Rheumatic Heart Disease, scheduled Thursday through Saturday in Abu Dhabi. Eliminating RF/RHD has to be a global effort.
