Sharing this for the non-Korean/Chinese speaking monbebes! One of Changkyun’s platoon mates posted his experience training with CK. “I enlisted on 9 Feb together with I.M. It was an honor to be assigned to the same platoon. At the beginning, you could tell that he was tense and unable to relax in the first 2 weeks. However, once training began in earnest, I.M. displayed himself as an exemplary older brother. His spirit enabled the squad to progress forward together. What was most memorable about him was how he would keep silent about his injuries until training concluded. He would wait until evening during wind-down time, to ask the instructors for permission to visit the medical room. Towards the end many of us dared not disturb him, but he never refused an autograph and was a very down to earth idol. I also asked for a signature on my short-sleeved ROKA tee. Congrats to I.M. for being posted to a base near his parents’ home. I wish him the best and good health in the remainder of his service.” FYI OP is a Korean national who studied abroad in the mainland. #IM #Changkyun
