As a Nigerian woman, what tribe would you prefer to get married into? Mention your top 2 preference. And tell us your tribe too.

@channelstv @channelstv Aso Òkè ìs indigenous tó The Yoruba ethnicity and not Nigeria like you posted. How do you want Yorubas that aren't indigenous to Nigeria feel when you Nigerianize the ancestral innovation? Take note. The Yoruba ethnicity extend beyond the shores of Nigeria.

The ruling house of Benin, now located in Edo State, continues to trace its ancestry to the Yoruba people, with origins in Ile-Ife.

Ibos! Yorubas didn’t betray your fathers! The reason u lost the Biafra war wasn’t Yorubas, it was your grandfathers greed! They were advancing to Lagos because Lagos was the capital, U honestly expected my grandfathers to keep their eyes open & watch yours march into their land?

Yoruba foods are the most popular foods in Nigeria, dishes like, amala and ewedu, egusi. akara. moin moin. fufu. and efo riro. No other ethnic group, dead or alive, has foods that are more popular than these Yoruba dishes. Omo Yoruba ni mi, na better bragging rights 😤

Not only your employee should bear the brunt, you are also guilt and you led recruitment for a page that's always pushing haate and history distortions against Yorùbás. Your first investor was even a Yorùbá person Iyinoluwa Aboyeji. THIS IS RIDICULOUS

Good morning everyone. Very late yesterday I was tagged in screenshots of some tweets made by a senior executive at @Risevest around 2013 and earlier that give us very serious concerns. To avoid a knee jerk response, I forward same to our leadership team immediately I received them and this morning we have initiated an internal review and have convened a meeting with our whole team to handle this with the seriousness it requires. To be clear, Risevest was started by myself, Bosun Olanrewaju and Tony as a company that is a home to everyone who wants to do great work, with respect and love for every group of people. While these comments are from years before we even conceived of the company, they are not casual and they are too serious to be dismissed as "shitposting". They most definitely do not reflect the values of our company and so far we have not seen any evidence that this reflects the character or actual actions of the executive in question. However, we want to assure everyone offended by it that we fully understand why anyone would be offended by such statements and have commenced an internal review of the executive's work and conduct to determine the right course of action. As many of you have witnessed over the years, when any matters like these are in concern, we handle it firmly, thoroughly and without favoritism no matter who is involved at any level. We thank everyone who has raised this concern and ask that we be given time to ensure this matter is handled well not only for the sake of those who have raised the issue but also for the sake of our team members, stakeholders and every other person who such comments have offended. Thank you Regards, Eke Eleanya Urum CEO, Risevest.

Man of Letters.
Man of Letters.@Letter_to_Jack·
If a negative stereotype affects you or your kind, you have the power to end it. If you are not a coward. However, bringing an end to it begins with you saying, “I will no longer accept this”. If you are too afraid to push back, or you’re waiting for people to fight it until the movement gains momentum, so you perch on the sidelines like Inzaghi and take the final glory, God will punish you.
