@kvrclinv @slendernugget14 @Okami13_ I get that. I believe that is why they opened the gateway of the Silent Hill phenomenon in Short Message. I get it's a cheap and dumb way. But they want to expand Silent Hill more about the inner guilt and demons that 2 was popular for. Maybe some side Cult stuff. I'm curious.

@huskiesghost @slendernugget14 @Okami13_ I could accept the games taking place around the world if there was a GOOD reason for it that made sense, but it feels like it's only happening to switch up the environment. Everything else I listed makes f definitionally not a Silent Hill game

But Silent Hill was eventually gonna have you go the Resident Evil route on changing things up. Sure, it's unpopular. But it's kinda the direction it was going since Silent Hill 2 and 4

Resident Evil 5 Remake needs to bring back the merchant. The inventory menu screen is so confusing. And who is Chris selling his items to, who's upgrading them? The game is literally RE4 set in Africa, why leave out such a core mechanic?

So your saying I have to accept anything done by Konami and I can't criticise bad changes? Silent Hill f is not a SH game. Here's why: 1. Set in Japan not the US, 2. Otherworld is just red flowers, 3. Bunch of healing items and stat upgrades that do the same thing. 4. Journal entries, 5. Hinako becomes a furry. 6. She's not actually there it's all a dream. It only has the title 'Silent Hill' for marketing and because there's fog.

@kvrclinv @slendernugget14 @Okami13_ OG Silent Hill player here. Played them all. Played 1 - 4 since I was kid when I owned a PS2. Wasn't too fond of Origins, Homecoming and Downpour. Shattered Memories was okay. With that said, I loved Silent Hill f. So can't really say what you said to be true.

With how much of Leon we've seen in recent games, I'm sure he won't appear in at least the next 2 (which I suspect are Resident Evil 1 Reremake + Code Veronica Remake). This means other characters we haven't seen for years are likely to come back. In my opinion, Rebecca Chambers desperately needs to return, and not only in the RE0 Remake but in new entries to the series. She's been a part of Resident Evil from the very first game and even appears in animated movies.

RE6 is another level of 'bad game' but here are a few things I like about it: 1. Ada's outfit, 2. The Mercenaries theme song 'Heat on Beat' (although I prefer the Rev 2 remix), 3. The part where lamps in the subway cast shadows for zombies running at you, 4. More Ada + Leon
