“You” IS our formal/plural second person! Our casual one was “thou” but it’s been totally phased out. English isn’t missing usted - it’s missing tú!

This is a random thought, but as a Spanish speaker, it really bothers me that English doesn't have a word for "ustedes" and only uses "tú" (* ￣︿￣)

The best example of this is when Suge Knight made Jerry Heller sign Dr Dre’s release forms under duress and then Jerry sued Interscope and inadvertently forced Jimmy Iovine give him a percentage of everything Dr Dre releases, forever
People also don’t know that if Dre ever leaves Jimmy Iovine, he has to contractually has go back to Ruthless Records. It’s why Dre will never leaves Jimmy

Cowboy Bebop is still beloved but I never hear anyone talk about Samurai Champloo anymore which is odd to me cause growing up I remember it being help up in similar regard. It wasn't considered crazy for someone to say they prefer it
