YES! langdon becomes the symbol for all of santos' problems with herself and other people because it looks like he doesn't have consequences for his actions which is not completely true BUT is true enough for her: he is not in jail at least partially bc of his race + gender

A cool aspect of their dynamic that just occurred to me is that both Langdon and Santos feel like they’re being ostracized and iced out by the rest of the ER, when in reality it’s only like 2-3 people who are mad and most of them are just indifferent
