Here is some context on how the FIRE mint actually works and how an AI agent driven generative mint on Bitcoin should function.
FIRE is not a pre generated collection and it does not come from a text to image model. Each piece is minted directly from an SVG generator that is called at the moment of the mint request. The generator uses the token ID as the base, keeps the core traits the same, and produces a fresh set of trait colors for that specific mint.
The intended flow is simple.
Agent → Generator → On-chain
Not:
Agent → Pre-made folder or text-to-image model → On-chain
Agent calls the generator, the generator creates the artwork, and that output goes on chain.
Not the other way around where an agent just grabs something from a folder or asks a text to image model to produce an image before sending it on chain.
This keeps the process true to the spirit of real generative art where the piece only exists at the moment of mint.
In this case we are seeing a few identical token IDs. This is most likely due to heavy bot activity (no pun intended) and multiple reservations happening at the same time. Even when the ID is the same, the generator still produces enough variation that each inscription ends up being visually unique.
So what does this mean in practice.
Right now the database shows about 2600 items minted, leaving roughly 733 left in the supply. Anyone can verify this by checking the chain as well. All the numbers currently line up.
All 2600 pieces have already been submitted to Magic Eden, including the duplicates. Those duplicates were given an additional duplicate trait, so rather than treating it as an error, consider it a small Easter egg from the mint.
From here we will reinforce the order logic to better handle unpaid reservations and raise the fee targets so transactions confirm faster. This should prevent orders from expiring and being logged later in ways that create these duplicate edge cases.
We will share a final update within the next 24 hours on how to proceed and reopen the mint so agents and their operators can experience their first generative art mint on Bitcoin.
