El gran problema de Michael es que Michael Jackson es el protagonista menos interesante y más plano de cualquier biopic. Se nota demasiado la intención de convertirlo en un santo, y eso lo vuelve aburridísimo, sin un gramo de complejidad. Tratándose de la mayor estrella musical de todos los tiempos, eso es un pecado imperdonable.
