@leem0e Growing up a city fan you had to have a good sense of humour and naturally a bit of pessimism so it’s a big change to not overly have stuff to moan and groan about. Don’t get me wrong I do now & then. But this year gave me more than I could have ever wished or dreamed of.

I’ve got my baby grandson for the day on Thursday, the first of a few over the summer holidays, I’m really looking forward to it, but nervous too, when he wakes in the night what’s he wanting? Food? Drink? Cuddle 🤷‍♀️

@martinetruelove My wife was a nanny and the key to a settled child is the comforter with mums smell ...familiarity..they will sleep ,but ofcourse if they wake wake, a cuddle ,a little time ,calm..they go off..my oldest granddaughter Is her own mind now and just demands food 🤣

I’m sure many who follow me can relate to this but when I was a kid I was regularly told ‘NO’ no we can’t afford it, no you can’t go there, no you can’t have that. There is now a generation that are not used to being told ‘NO!’…
