@Springmorb @DeviljWheat The legs are crouching in the model in opposition to the skeletal. Everything else is literally to scale, head, arms, sails. And what do you even mean by "wasn't known when the spino was designed"?

@DeviljWheat You're scaling it to the legs, that's why it looks like that, all JP and JW dinosaurs have way longer legs than their real life counterparts, the tail is still a bit too short even when scaled to the rest of the body, but that wasn't known when the Spino was designed

@Regalius12 @omegafreelancer The Rebirth quetz should be 2/3rds the size of the dominion one, which would still put it around the height of a rex. So it'd still tower over the baby, I don't think it'd be a big deal even if the baby stays the same size

I believe that Spino would’ve had tail muscles strong enough that it could hold its tail fully up like other dinosaurs.
But that’s just what I think, and is more of a personal taste thing. Idk if either is considered, “correct.”

no bone in this fight but the logical endpoint of using a komodo dragon as an argument for why dinosaurs were probably dull in color due to their body mass is that any reptile heavier than a komodo dragon would have dull colors, which is a VERY large portion of non-bird dinosaurs
