Life is complicated. Reality is illusive. Logic is hard, and we pretty bad at it.

Him: Tinubu is a disaster, he hasn't done anything. Me: Has Wike done well? Him: Yes Wike has performed exceptionally well, even though I don't like him. Me: How about Umahi? Him : Háà, that guy is doing well too, look at the quality of the roads he is constructing Me: how about Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo the minister of interior. Him: Yes, I love that man, he has literally changed the prison and immigration system, I never knew that ministry is that strong until he became the minister. Me: When was the last time asuu went on strike? Him: I can't even remember, they seems to be stable now. Me: Have you heard about nelfund? Him: I have a causin who got that thing o, but until now I don't know he got it. Me : Have you seen the Lagos calabar coastal highway? Him: I have not seen it but I usually watch it on one sunshine TV on Facebook, it's very beautiful. Me : And Tinubu hasn't done anything? Him: I haven't seen anything he did o. These guys are not Tinubu now, they did well, but it's not Tinubu. Really? Can you now see that most of them are not educated even though they claim to go to school? They're not as smart as you think. Happy Sunday jàre.

Even if we move oil and gas to the concurrent list, governors in oil and gas rich states will still prefer to sit back and collect FAAC, put it up for a vote and watch them vote against resource control, they’re only interested in the money, no idea how to generate it

@Abbysmilkers421 @David_samuel33 @thebadbearcat I understand your pain. Your sport is probably the least skill-based in the world, and this proved it. 90% of the time, it's obese clowns just standing around. Even calling it a sport is debatable. Getting criticised by lesser stans is water off a duck's back.

@lescroe @David_samuel33 @thebadbearcat Oh you're a soccer fag. Yes it takes a ton of skill to jog for a secret amount of time until everyone is tired enough to sleep without AC whether there's a fuckin tie or not.

@Abbysmilkers421 @David_samuel33 @thebadbearcat More than what? Stop being in your feelings about it; crying won't change facts. I used basketball as an example because I am talking to an American. I watch proper football, you don't want to get into whose favourite sport is more popular with me.

@David_samuel33 @thebadbearcat You guys need to get your pride out of it. You are not getting stashed in any practice squad or whatever in any sport that requires developing skills if you have no practice. The fact they will let you anywhere near the squad is proof some NFL roles require little to no skill.

@baahirjinadu @commieoflagos I didn’t answer because I didn’t the need, but if you really want one: everyone with brains knows that he was being sarcastic and mocking Obidiots. Only Obidiots would be too emotional to see that, hence the assumption. If you’re not an Obidiot then you must be especially stupid.

@badruafees34 @ansem_edet Of course, both are vital in this modern age. The big difference is that without roads, there is no commerce, while there is still commerce without electricity. Electricity-first people are selfish, consumption-minded and don't care that we need to create jobs and end poverty.

@lescroe @ansem_edet Both are very important if you asked me but if we are to do one at a go, I will choose good road before electricity bearing in mind that one of the reasons goods are expensive is because of high transportation cost due highly to bad roads. My opinion.

Aggressively targeting the improvement of trade and transport infrastructure is far more important to the economy and will have far more impact on everyday living than 247 electricity, people asking why we’re borrowing to fix our infrastructure are retarded, Nigerians exhaust me

FOR THE SANE ONES IN NIGERIA, LET US THINK ABOUT IT FOR ONCE. - The roads Tinubu is building (Lagos-Calabar, Sokoto-Badagry) should have been built 30 years ago. - Nigeria’s fuel and electricity subsidies should have been removed 30 years ago. - The tax reform bills should have been introduced 50 years ago. - A consumer credit scheme for all citizens should have been implemented 50 years ago. - Students loan would have ended ASUU strikes 5 decades ago. - The regional development commissions should have been created 3 decades ago. - Local government autonomy should have been figured out several years ago. - State policing would have sorted our insecurity challenges if implemented 30 years ago. Tinubu came and fixed all of it in less than three years. Man is accelerating our development process and some Nigerians excepted a smooth transition without any major impact or pushback from the beneficiaries of the rot. We have skimmed through the dark days and the remnant issues of insecurity and resultant effects of inflation will not push us to bring back those who have not had the courage to fix these things despite being given opportunities before now. The 2027 elections is a fight between stepping forward or taking several steps backward by electing people who said they will cancel all these initiatives. The sane ones will once again prevail and nothing shall discourage us in a bid to build a resilient and more prosperous country. Forward ever, coalition never.

You: no one is neutral. Everyone has a side. Once you see anyone claiming neutral, just know they've chosen a side and you know what side. Same You: Otti hasn't picked a side. He's just being neutral. I know he's supposed to be with the opposition but he has his reasons.

May our eyes be open to see that we don't need leaders who build highways, bridges, and airports to nowhere. But what we need are power, security, rule of law, and good basic infrastructure.
Tracka@TrackaNG

We tracked the Sokoto Badagry Super-Highway from both ends this month, the Lagos axis and Sokoto axis. On the Lagos end, the project is currently within Ogun State, stretching from Diya Gate, OPIC Estate, Agbara to Iyana Idoye, Lusada. Sparse work was observed at Odugbe in Lusada, Ado Odo/Ota LGA. The project terminated at Phase 4, Atan with only one side of the road under construction by Hitech Construction Company Limited. At the Sokoto end in Illela LGA, work was ongoing, bush clearing, sand filling, and site preparation. On the section towards Katami, Silame LGA, Sokoto and in Kebbi State, some portions have been completed with concrete paving and solar lighting installed. Progress is uneven and slow. Now here is what has been committed on paper, FEC has approved contracts worth N2.36tn for the highway since 2024, (N947bn for Kebbi single carriageway in August 2024, N456bn for Sokoto 120km section in October 2024 flagoff and N961bn for Kebbi second carriageway for August 2025). Just 3 days ago, President @officialABAT sent a fresh request to the Senate for a $516.3m loan from Deutsche Bank, the largest single external injection into this project yet. But the Minister of Works, @realdaveumahi admitted in February 2026 that only N210.31bn, 9.7% of expected 2025 capital releases have actually been paid to contractors. Contractors across @FMWNIG projects are owed N2.2tn for advanced work. Commitments on paper. The total cost of this 1,068km highway alone is projected at over N6.5tn, borrowed money, at a time when Nigeria already spends substantial part of her total revenue servicing existing debt. We urgently call on the Federal Government of Nigeria and @nassnigeria to; - Properly scrutinize every new loan. - Release funds owed to contractors. - Publish quarterly disbursement reports for this highways. - Scrutinise the $516.3m Deutsche Bank loan terms transparently. Citizens deserve infrastructure and fiscal accountability, not one without the other. #Publicfundsmustforthegoodofthepeople #AskQuestions
