@rans1964 @NicholasFerroni My daughter's 1st grade teacher has morning share time. They can share one item not related to school work. This is probably why she implemented this. As an aside, my child looks forward to this every day!

@NicholasFerroni You are right about elementary, but mostly they wouldn’t be questions. It would be stuff like, “Tomorrow is my mom’s birthday,” or “I went to Sea World yesterday.” 😳

I wanted to know how many questions my high school ask on a daily basis, so I counted on a pitch counter. I’m sure I missed a few, but it’s still A LOT🍎😂 I would encourage elementary school teachers to try this, but I don’t think the counter goes that high.👀

Me: “Who stuffed a Z-bar wrapper in the couch? Two kids: “Not me, I don’t like them!” (The Picky Ones™️) One kid: “I throw my wrappers away.” (Oldest daughter, ofc she does) Last child: “I usually sit at the other end of the couch so my stuffed wrappers are under there.”

@mark_joubert Sealed in a Zip lock Freezer bag extends the scent, back into the same bag each time. I have some items from my Great Grandmother that still smell like her 21 years later. We did come home from the NICU, and I cannot imagine your pain. Thoughts and prayers for you two everyday!

We really thought this room in the PCU was going to be our last home away from home before really going home. Gus wasn't having it. He wanted to see his friends in the CICU, so he took us back there one last time. Of all the things it is most difficult to lose, touch and smell are the hardest. I can 'see' him again in pictures and I can 'hear' him again in videos. But I cannot touch him again in any sense. I cannot smell him. We saved some of his dirty laundry - wild considering how we used to rush to the hospital laundry room or rush back and forth from home to do laundry. There are some things I may never clean again - though they will lose his scent all too quickly, and it will be gone for good. Miss ya buddy.
