@T3Bates This is going to sound crazy, but when I was still in the game for this stuff, iirc, players didn't like the snow maps because they were too bright. Salty Shores (yes, even at night) didn't see playtime for a similar reason

and there is also still the opportunity to have the snow variant maps in play for the first half of the season. Utopia Dusk could be utopia Snowy, Mannfield could be Mannfield Snowy. The Boston major is happening in February, the map rotation could reflect the time of year…

Why is map 5 the only map that is ever changed? Can someone who makes the decisions message me or sumn. Great opportunity to have Parc De Paris to be the 1st map in the rotation, or even the 7th map in the rotation at the Paris Major. #RLCS

@RocketLabs3 @RL_Status They need to pick a fixed frequency for executing these waves to avoid arousing suspicion, and there's a good argument for leaving some bots unbanned but constrained so they can only play each other to throw bot devs off.

@RocketLabs3 @RL_Status Banning new bots at the point of detection makes it easier for bot devs to deduce which behaviours/exploits are being used to identify bots. That means bot devs would only need to make small tweaks each time, rather than having to rebuild from the ground up after each wave.

@liafeon_x I did not know that, full well, and your reaction is based on your assumption. All I saw were tweets from players reporting missing admins. I literally said “I hear…”. Not putting anymore energy towards this, but I had some productive conversations with admins in DMs ♥️
