Plenty of jobs still on around harvest time. - Corn still demanding irrigation even through 35mm of 7 day rain. - Cotton has begun squaring as it approaches 8 to 9 nodes. - Leaf sampling corn for nutrient analysis. - Side dressing anhydrous ammonia in our late planted silage corn

10 plants dug up in a row with variation in seedling vigour, especially the S606. The hills were well prepared with uniform depth. Struck on rain on the 4th October then irrigated post rain. Are you seeing this seedling vigour variation ?? - Carrathool NSW

Hey guys. I have 36 Bags of Ausigold 62 OptiCOTE Select Seed. Bags contain 11.45kg of seed totalling 412.2kg of seed that I won’t be requiring this year. I am planning on selling it. If there is any interest, please let me know. Retweets appreciated #agchatoz

Anyone have little baby cotton plants out of the ground yet? Looking to do a yarn on how planting has gone in the Riverina. Anywhere in the Riverina, let me know!

Sending the #drone up today to aid decision making around canola windrow timing. Very handy to identify areas which are more/less advanced.

Last few nights spent in Toowoomba with client Ron, Susanne and Adam Harris of Ramps Ridge who were nominated for Australian Cotton Grower of the Year. Didn’t come home with the chocolates but was a great experience and excellent effort for the nomination

Final irrigation of the season for farmers around Hay, NSW. With up to 300mm of in crop rain in areas, water efficiency has been excellent. Fingers crossed for a warm finish.

Back planting cotton in western Murrumbidgee before the next rain event. This is a new development which had barley planted in the winter and sprayed out with Paraquat to aid in infiltration.

Cotton picking underway around Hay, NSW. 10-15mm of rain this week will slow things down although plenty of farmers still looking for contractors. #CottonPicking

@liamwhitbourne Those are some top shots Liam! Hay looks absolutely vast. The weather this year has certainly favored the local cotton growers more than the Max Max directors! 😅
