Just had a really positive and productive meeting with my party's leader in Local Government, Councillor @joeharrispark, about the important work Lib Dem Parish & Town Councillors are doing in our communities across the country. Looking forward to an ongoing dialogue. #LibDems

Just had a really good virtual @MakeVotesMatter Councillor Network meeting. Good to see Councillors (parish/town, as well as principle authorities) from a range of parties all looking at ways to highlight the need to get #fairvotes. Looking forward to a busy year ahead!

As the cost of living crisis continues to bite, it is important we do more to protect people from having to choose between heating and eating.

Today I questioned Ministers on what steps they are taking to ensure pensioners are informed about, and able to access, additional help that they may be able to benefit from 👇

I'm honoured to have been elected Chair of Lib Dems for the Heart of England, which champions the #LibDems in the Midlands and the Midlands in the Lib Dems. I'm delighted our excellent outgoing Chair @miketmullaney will continue to be involved, as Vice Chair and Policy Officer.

Many thanks to our outgoing Chair, @miketmullaney, for leading us so well since our founding. From TV appearances to Conference panels Michael has brilliantly made the case for the #LibDems in the #Midlands and the Midlands in the Lib Dems. He'll now serve as Vice Chair/Policy.
