Did you know mindfulness training has shown to significantly enhance mental resilience by improving the ability to manage and recover from stress. Programs like the Mindfulness-Based Mind Fitness Training (MMFT), tested on Marines, have demonstrated the following impacts: •Stress Recovery: Marines who underwent mindfulness training showed faster recovery of heart rate and breathing after stress exposure, compared to those without the training. •Cognitive Benefits: The training improved attention spans, mental processing speeds, and situational awareness, helping Marines better handle high-stress environments. •Physiological Resilience: Regular mindfulness practice reduced stress biomarkers like neuropeptide Y and enhanced immune function. •Emotional Regulation: Techniques such as body scans helped develop interoceptive awareness, allowing them to better regulate emotions and physical responses to stress. Yesterday the students wrote what they were leaving behind in 2022 and crumbled it up and threw it in the floor. No names. Then they picked up someone else’s and read it. It showed them what bothers other class mates. Eye opening and truthful. #socialemotional

I watched my four year old fall down about 100 times ice skating for the first time. He got back up every single time. He also learned how to snowboard last week. By day day 2 he was on the beginner trails. That is inspiration/motivation to do hard things.
