Il prossimo 25 aprile sarò a Kyiv, in Ucraina, cioè nel posto in cui ha più senso essere. Celebrerò con grande emozione la RESISTENZA insieme ad un popolo che realmente RESISTE. Lascio volentieri le piazze italiane ai partigiani da salotto, che i valori dell’antifascismo preferiscono cantarli piuttosto che difenderli e me ne starò con chi veramente una mattina si è svegliato e ha trovato l’invasor. Cedo il mio posto a chi ha scelto di rimpiangere vecchie pagine di storia, per condividere speranze e paure accanto a chi ha invece deciso, col sangue e col coraggio, di scriverne di nuove. Viaggerò di giorno e di notte per abbracciare e sostenere gli oppressi, perché mai riuscirei a rimanere impassibile al fianco di chi troppe volte giustifica gli oppressori. Chi crede nella libertà, nella democrazia e nella pace giusta, anche solo col cuore, sarà con me quel giorno.
