Global anti blackness blows my mind bc black ppl did not globally ruin societies lol

Black Americans and Jewish Americans share a deep, enduring history of standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the fight to gain and maintain civil rights in this country. Today, as antisemitism and hate rise, standing together isn’t just an honoring of history—it’s an urgent necessity. Proud to join friends, neighbors, and colleagues at the @MetCouncil Breakfast and Celebrate Israel Parade. It was powerful to witness Governor Hochul sign crucial legislation to protect our houses of worship live and in-person. Churches, synagogues, and temples must return to being true places of sanctuary. No one should ever feel intimidated or under threat when entering or exiting their place of worship. I am proud to be the only candidate in the Assembly District 65 race who stood in solidarity at these events today, and the only one taking a public, unwavering stand against antisemitism and all hate. I am fully committed to protecting every corner of AD 65 against inequity based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion. Substantial leadership means showing up. Incredible to share the day with Governor Hochul, AG Tish James, Comptroller DiNapoli, Comptroller Levine, BP Hoylman-Sigal, Council Speaker Julie Menin, former Speaker Adrienne Adams, Senator Chuck Schumer, Congressmembers Goldman, Meng, and Espaillat, Councilmembers Salaam and Abreu, local AM Grace Lee, my dear friend and advisor, former CD1 Councilmember Alan Gerson and so many more
