@maddghostbda We have another important summer window coming up. Let’s see where we reinforce/strengthen. The team can get even better, and I think we’ll be back to playing how we used to play before. Just need that first trophy in the bag to free us up

What’s stopping Rice from picking up his head and spreading the ball wide sooner which is what he should’ve done from the start? You fans are clueless.

@maddghostbda Be for real lol. If he turns, he probably ends up going to Ben White anyway - who probably passes it back to Saliba. Or passes it to Calafiori who passed it back to Gabriel - back to square 1. But Rice passing it wide allows movement to create a different picture.🤷🏽♂️

@maddghostbda Yes but if he would’ve turned, he wouldn’t have had a pass on because everyone is so stagnant. This is one of those instances I don’t actually mind what either of them did too much. The rest of the game was brutal to watch tho 🥲

@maddghostbda Rice sees the whole pitch. Spread the ball. Part of Odegaard’s job here is to occupy the space between the two midfielders. Spread it wide, then get it to him. Nevertheless the passes they’ve done isn’t so bad either. We should be playing faster like this more often

The group stage of the Champions League is completely different to the knockouts. If I’m being honest, I’d be really worried about playing Bayern Munich. PSG might be UCL holders but I feel Bayern are the best team. Arsenal would have a better chance of beating Real Madrid. I do think we’ll progress past Sporting Lisbon but I’m deeply concerned playing Bayern. They’re the best team in the world.
