@maerespicio I wish my wildflower pictures along the Castle Crest Trail looked as beautiful as real life. But I am pleased at how the blue water photographed nicely.

Vacations are wonderful & seeing 4 Nat’l Parks was amazing-photos from North Cascades, Mt Rainier, Olympic & Crater Lake. 5 weeks is a long time to be away, tho’ and finding all this bookmail made it even sweeter to be home!

I have a middle schooler who has been in the US from China for about a year. I’m looking for resources to give her books that she can read independently in both languages. She reads English at a first or second grade level and she will rarely speak, so I’m trying to build trust.

I also have a lost library copy in my house. Guess I’ll read this with dinner. @maerespicio

Today I told my youngest the premise of the new book I’m writing. He’s a tough critique but said, “This one actually sounds good.” Not sure if I’ve been complimented or insulted!
