Amazing to visit the Kennaook Cape Grim baseline air pollution station with a bunch of people from @INAR_fin. The station has records of the air composition since 1976. Such impressive and important work!

here you can find the most common ions, their behavior and connection to aerosol formation. We show that in land-influenced air sulfuric acid and organics are likely important for aerosol formation while in marine air sulfur and iodine species play a role. 2/3

My first first author paper from my PhD is now out in ACP 🥳. In it we explore aerosol properties and new particle formation at the always beautiful @niwa_nz Baring Head station with special focus on NPF in clean marine air 🌊 acp.copernicus.org/articles/22/62…
