A girl from Botswana asked womenforchange to help them raise awareness for a protest they have for a little girl, and they told her they don’t have capacity because they dealing with South Africa. Lol, they are not here for African women or South African women dears, they have an agenda and Botswana is not part of it.👍🏾😂

@Amahashi_ Maybe there are, I'm not sure. The request was likely because of how so many women across other African countries were in solidarity with SA women during the purple movement even when they weren't SA'n. They thought the org could support. The request doesn't seem far fetched.

@womenforchange5 is a SAn organisation run on ZERO funding, drowning in GBV cases from our own crisis. A Botswana request for awareness? They politely said they don’t have capacity because they’re not a global NGO with donor millions.
