difficulty doesnt mess with the spawns so much as increase the damage you take and make heals less effective gives more HP to enemies things like that etc. it may add more trash mobs and double up on elites though whenever they spawn. I mostly played versus competitively back int he day so im not a big coop gamer in l4d lol

@mansurewhatever @Pirat_Nation again though that's more of a randomizer for the matches and not difficulty. difficulty was manually selected before you start the match. (this pic is from a mod that adds more difficulty settings beyond expert lol)

@Nasdorachi @Pirat_Nation the director system was more than randomizing, it watched the game live and saw the teams performance, depending on that, it changed itam spawns and the amount, special zombie and hord timings and quantity, knowing this it sounds very similar

@mansurewhatever @Pirat_Nation not really. that was more just a spawn randomizing system to keep each run feeling not the same as the one before. it had multiple difficulties you could select easy normal hard etc

@Pirat_Nation pretty sure this is intended for dynamic difficulty of the game itself, not in pvp. like you and your boys playing CoD zombies in coop, the system detects youre doing super good, so it makes these adjustments or others to make the game harder
